Every day we hear about children who are failing in school, at home, or in life in general. By the time they are between 10 and 14 years old, children are often faced with choices that determine whether they will succeed or end up as another grim statistic. The Hurdles Foundation is here to make sure that more children get over the hurdles that life throws at them, by supporting the work of effective youth-serving organizations who don’t yet have the infrastructure to follow through on their own. Hurdles board members work with these organizations to make connections in the community and raise the funds they need to expand their work. Your generous gift to the Hurdles Foundation will be an investment in organizations the Foundation designates that are doing critical work with youth in our community. Our goal is to leave any organization we serve stronger, more visible in the community, and ultimately, self-sufficient.
